Rainer Görß & Ania Rudolph
Kunstraum Mitte Walk
The artist Rainer Görß has been part of the art scene in Berlin-Mitte since 1980. From the 1990s onwards, a collection of countless artifacts from the East-West transformation processes and the liquidation campaigns of the GDR’s state-owned enterprises (VEB) was created here, including in today’s KW Institute for Contemporary Art (KUNST-WERKE BERLIN). The Kunstraum Mitte Walk leads as a walk-in narrative along Auguststraße past Tacheles to the U144 underground museum, which has been located in a basement on Linienstraße since 1995. In the form of a chamber of art and wonders, it invites visitors to engage in storytelling with a labyrinth of nine themed room installations. Afterwards, the duo Rainer Görß & Ania Rudolph invite you to the U144 Labor Bar for an Advent drink together.
The number of participants is limited. Registrations until 29.11.2024 and information on accessibility: Annika.Reketat@ba-mitte.berlin.de
The event will be held in German.
Meeting point: Kunst Raum Mitte, Auguststraße 21, 10117 Berlin
