INFORMATION ON ACCESSIBILITY AND BARRIERS
HOW TO FIND US
The gallery is located at Auguststraße 21 in Berlin-Mitte and is best accessed by public transport. This includes the U8 underground line, the S-Bahn lines 3, 5, 7, and 9, as well as the M1 and M5 tram lines. It is about a ten-minute walk from the stops.

Please be aware that there are very few paid parking facilities in the immediate vicinity.
ENTRANCE
You can reach Kunst Raum Mitte via the backyard. The main entrance to the venue is on the first floor of the building, which is accessible by stairs. There is no elevator.
There is currently no floor guidance system or orientation information for people who are blind or visually impaired in Kunst Raum Mitte.
TOILETS
On the first floor, there are two gender-neutral restrooms with seated toilets.
SEATING, CHECKROOM AND ANIMALS
There is seating for visitors in the exhibition rooms as needed.
There is no checkroom or lockers in the building. No dogs or other animals are permitted in the exhibition rooms, except for assistance dogs, which are welcome.
ACCESSIBILITY
The texts on the exhibitions and events are in standard German and English. Currently, information on the exhibitions is not available in German sign language or Braille.
The exhibition guides are happy to answer general questions about Kunst Raum Mitte and orientation in the building.
We strive to make information on barriers transparent and are working to make the space more accessible. We are aware that we currently lack some e necessary accessibility features. However, this is just the beginning of a long-term process that we would like to continue as part of the reorientation of Kunst Raum Mitte. We invite you to join us on this journey!
